Wanted: Mothers & Their Children for Photoshoots
We are looking for mothers & their children (of all ages!) to photograph for new Black & White wall displays and social media content as we transition from 13 years of photographing weddings to family portraiture.
Participants will receive a Complimentary Photography Session + a $150 Gift Certificate for Artwork from our studio
There are no purchase obligations. Sessions will be photographed in black & white but made available for families in color. Fathers, pets, and other family members are encouraged to participate as well!

What's this about?
Our studio has been an internationally recognized wedding photography studio for the past 13 years, earning 100's of awards for our work, we are transitioning our studio into family portraits and are seeking mothers and their children (both boys & girls) of all ages for our new Black & White Studio wall displays, as well as social media content. As a thank you, we will provide a complete waiver of our session fee + a $150 gift certificate to use towards artwork purchases in our studio. Fathers & Pets are welcome to join in the sessions as well!
Our studio manager will reach out to you within two days of submitting your application to go over the details, schedule your session, and answer any questions you may have. If you're a mom who wants to be in more pictures with her kids and thinks this would be a special experience, please fill out the information below and FAQ's.
No Purchase Obligations
There are no purchase obligations or minimum order amounts. We will show you the photographs during a fun appointment 1 week after your photo shoot via Zoom and if you want you can purchase artwork directly from us.
Artwork with our studio begins at $495, while most clients spend $1500 or more on their finished art pieces and digital negatives.
Wardrobe Help & Professional Studio Setup
Need some help with what to wear? Don't sweat because our team will give you guidance on what will look best in your pictures! You will work directly with Michael who will photograph you on our hand-painted sets. Don't worry, this won't look like 1980's mall photography. We photograph all of our subjects with a fine-art approach taking inspiration from Renaissance-era Artists.

Frequetly Asked Question
Where is Your Studio Located?
Our studio is located in Valencia, California, close to Magic Mountain in the commercial center. It typically takes 45 minutes to get to our studio from West LA or 30 minutes from Downtown.
Is this a competition or model call?
No! We are looking for real mothers and children to photograph. We are using these images for new marketing material and sample displays at our studio for our new black and white fine-art line.We will shoot and edit these images in black and white, however color options are available for purchase should you decide to order wall displays or our portrait boxes.
How long do you keep the portraits for after my session?
Due to limited storage, we are not able to maintain, store, or archive unordered portraits. Portraits that are not purchased are purged periodically to make room for new sessions on our servers.
Are there any age requirements?
Nope! We are looking for mothers and their children of all ages! From expectant mothers to moms with 2-3 children, or even grandmothers, mothers, and grandchildren. We are looking for a diverse set of images to update our wall displays!
How do I book my session?
We book these sessions after a short phone call to go over all of the details. After you fill out your application form, we will look through it, and our studio manager will reach out to you by text & email with a link to set up your phone call. We require a $99 fully-refundable deposit to secure your date on our calendar, which is then refunded to you at your portrait ordering/viewing session.
How long is the session?
Sessions last around 30 minutes, depending on the number of children you have, and their ages. We can do up to 2 outfits each session and we build in time for you to change clothes if you would like.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Michael Anthony Photography, after signing up for the mother & child, black & white photoshoot. From the beginning, communication was very detailed-oriented and no question went unanswered. The studio was very nice and Michael and Courtney were absolutely pleasant to my son and I. It was our first professional photoshoot together, but Michael was awesome and an expert! He gave excellent direction, and worked so well with my son, who is 6 yrs old and very energetic. He was super patient and never made me feel uncomfortable or rushed during the photoshoot. While the shoot lasted about 45 minutes, it didn't limit the fantastic photos to select from. There were so many great choices, which was very difficult to narrow down. However, Courtney was wonderful and also very patient in helping me make selections.
